Composter is Working! Please see instructions on proper use.
YES - COMPOST
- fruit/vegetable scraps
- bread/rice/pasta
- eggshells (rinsed & crushed)
- cornhusks
- coffee grounds
- tea bags (staple removed)
- garden/grass clippings
NO - DON'T COMPOST
- NO BAGS - including Biodegradable ones! They don't decompose fast enough
- pet droppings
- meat scraps, poultry, or bones
- fish and seafood
- dairy products
- greasy foods, fat, or oil
- corncobs
- plastic or metal (remove grocery stickers)
- pine needles
- sticks & weeds

Garden Shed
The garden shed is Property of the Butler Community Garden. All gardeners are welcome to use all the equipment.
