The garden has been plowed, flags have been placed, and it is ready for planting. Good luck! Let us know if you have any questions or need additional fencing, stakes, etc. Please be courteous of your fellow gardeners. Don't use what you don't need, sharing fences, don't double up, etc. Share seeds!

Composter is Working! Please see instructions on proper use.
YES - COMPOST
- fruit/vegetable scraps
- bread/rice/pasta
- eggshells (rinsed & crushed)
- cornhusks
- coffee grounds
- tea bags (staple removed)
- garden/grass clippings
NO - DON'T COMPOST
- NO BAGS - including Biodegradable ones! They don't decompose fast enough
- pet droppings
- meat scraps, poultry, or bones
- fish and seafood
- dairy products
- greasy foods, fat, or oil
- corncobs
- plastic or metal (remove grocery stickers)
- pine needles
- sticks & weeds

The garden shed is Property of the Butler Community Garden. All gardeners are welcome to use all the equipment.
