Tips from a local farmer

I am friends with a man who runs a Pick-your-own farm in East Windsor. He said that he would be happy to come and give us gardening tips if we would like. What would be the best day/time?

  1. Weekend is generally ok for me and I guess for most people. If the farmer friend is also able to sell seeds, we should ask him to come as early as possible so that people might buy something from him.

  2. I agree weekends are the best. A mid-day time. I think just after the plow comes through we should invite him out. Plot planning and early season tips would be helpful. If there are questions later, we can reach out to him again.

  3. Is this still up in the air?

I am planning on buying tomato and pepper plants. I would love to explore New Jersey gardening tips and the possibility of buying plants locally.
